SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATION   [NON-FICTION]
& INFOGRAPHIC

SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATION
is used in school textbooks, newspapers, scientific journals, essays, instruction manuals, statistics, advertising, web design or museums to display very complex or abstract information. The images are made in a traditional pictorial or digital way using a computer or tablet with special programs (2D or 3D software). They can be processed with the mouse or on graphic palettes. These techniques make it possible to obtain often realistic images that are intended to illustrate a specific theme or object.

INFOGRAPHICS
(information graphic or infographic) is a mix between graphic arts and computer science, it is used where dry data and information such as statistics must be represented in a simple and easy to read visual, graphic and / or dynamic way.
